Currently, as far as reenacting is concerened, there's not much available (that will pass authenticity standards) for naval forces. A few items are interchangeable with Army equipment, but generally it's a completely different animal.
The concensus is that until there is suficient demand for the Japanese SNLF (Marines) uniforms and equipment, it's not likely to be produced...and that could be quite some time, since it's a steep hill for even the Japanese Army reenacting community to attract members.
A few scattered individuals are working on their kit, but over all, the emphasis is on building an army (gear is easily available) to oppose the Allies.
