I don't think a lot of people realize that a lot of small boats, to include LCVP landing craft, were crewed not just by sailors, but by coast guardsmen as well. It would be nice to have that portrayed.

EXACTLY! Well now i'll have at least 5 different sets of dogtags for CG, USN, USMC and Army early and mid war .

Essentially, the CG manned everything from "Mike Boats" up to Destroyer Escorts and Attack Transports. Some ships were even composed of a mixed USN/USCG crew like the SAMUEL CHASE.

Thanks. Yeah but we think she may have some husky in there too. I would never own any other type of dog other than GSDs or a Belgian Malinois or a Husky.
